Research & Argumentation
The YouTube conversation was testing out argument skills as an advocate, antagonist, and interrogator. I was placed in a group of 3 and each of us had to play each role through the three videos. For my particular video based on loneliness, I demonstrate the advocate role to the best of my ability while using basic argumentive strategies.
The Video Mashup was a tricky assignment for me personally. I had to pick a contemporary topic that I feel strongly about to work with and that was women lifting weights. This whole assignment was to challenge myself tot think about large and important issues in new ways and to gain a felt understanding of what it is like to compose a "mashup" working with iMovie, online converters, and so on.
The Annotated Bibliography has all the aspects of my mashup as well as why I chose what I did, if it serves as a repetend, the intertextual background, and any semiotics that were used. My videos are viewable on this particular page, so watch and enjoy!
